All posts in this section must follow these section rules

Rules:

  1. The selling of hacked, cracked, and phished accounts is strictly forbidden and will result in a ban.
  2. You may only sell RuneScape 3 accounts in this section.
  3. You must clearly state if you are the original owner or not before trading. Users are free to ask who the original owner is before trading.
  4. An explicit refund and returns policy must be defined by the seller and agreed upon by the buyer (in writing) before a sale occurs.
  5. Anyone who wishes to sell an account must maintain "recovery responsibility" (they must refund their buyer if the account is recovered or becomes locked and they are unable to unlock it) for at least a month after the sale. If you are an account seller and you do not specifically mention your recovery responsibility in your Terms of Service, by default you have recovery responsibility for two years.
  6. Users may only have one thread in this section, if you wish to buy and sell accounts you will need to merge the threads together.

An account with an unregistered email can still be recovered

Threads MUST display the follow information or they will be locked:
A screenshot of the account's levels* (Example) (Example RS3) - You may only blur up to 5 stats and the total level. (Example)
A screenshot of the account's wealth [If specified] (Example) (Example RS3)
A screenshot of the lobby screen [If specified for membership] (Example) (Example RS3)

* If your account is exceptionally unique you can request an exception to this requirement by contacting a staff member. Staff reserve the right to deny these requests for any reason.

If your account has any offence history you must notify your buyer before trading. Failure to do so will result in disputes being awarded to the buyer by default.

Additional Information:

  1. Accounts can always be reccovered, please keep this in mind when buying an account.
  2. You can price check your accounts here: Price Checks
  3. Confirm who you are speaking with if trading over Discord. Understand how the unique ID works and double check it before trading at all times. Follow this guide.
  4. Check the report a scammer section before trading someone large amounts of RuneScape gold.
  5. Take screenshots of usernames you trade including the chat you get it from.
  6. If you have been scammed, please make a report here.

All accounts are recoverable!

Always be cautious with account trades, even if you are using a middleman. Remember, accounts can always be recovered, so even if the trade goes smoothly, there's nothing stopping the original owner from recovering the account down the track, leaving you out of pocket, and without an account.

Do not be lulled into a false sense of security.
Using a middleman does not eliminate the chance of you being scammed, because the account can still be recovered.

We recommend that you always proceed with caution when you are buying accounts, even with a middleman.
We also strongly advise you to take all screenshots of the trade, for the evidence required.
This will ensure that if your account does get recovered, we can ban the person to prevent others from being scammed.

Recovery Tests Do NOT Ensure Safety

Many customers will purchase an account and perform a recovery test, and his decision of buying the account depends on the results of a "recovery test." These practices are utterly pointless. Yes, a recovery can tell you if the person is lying about the information or not--however, BY FAR the most important thing in a recovery is the computer from which it is performed.

Performing a recovery test does not ensure that you, the buyer, will not be scammed. After you buy the account, there is a very easy method for the original owner of an account to "lock in" the IP address so that only his own computer can perform a recovery. DO NOT think that an account is safe to buy simply because it passes a recovery test! Please consider all factors in a trade (such as the seller's background, the chance you think he would scam you, etc.) before buying!

How to better ensure a safe trade:

  • Take screenshots of everything during the trade in case it gets recovered.
    [*]Trade only with trusted members.
[*]Look up the email address/login name of the account to see if it's a previously hacked account.
[*]Always use a middleman to add an extra level of security.
[*]Only buy an account if you have good reason to believe the seller is the original owner and agrees to unlock it, if necessary.

Furthermore, all sections follow our global RuneLister rules which can be found here.
