Spooky

The 2009/2010 championship Rollie Fingers Jersey season has started off with a bang, some great games, plenty of goals and a very tight looking league table, with only 6 points separating the top 10 teams. On any given day anyone can beat anyone in this league. Here we are going to look at the contenders for the best player in the Championship and also give you my top 3 players. Its no surprise to see the list full of attacking and creative players thats what makes this league so exciting. The ContendersAndrew Carroll (Newcastle United)The tall power striker has come through the ranks at Newcastle and has made a big impre sion with the toon army this season. His goals this season will go along away in helping Newcastle back Sonny Gray Jersey into the Premier League. He causes all sorts of problems for defences with his aerial threat and his ability to hold up the ball and bring others into play.Matt Fryatt (Leicester City)Matty Fryatts goals last season helped Leicester gain promotion to the Championship scoring 27 goals in 46 matches. The step up in leagues hasnt stopped Fryatt finding the back on the net scoring 9 times already in the first 15 league games. Dont be surprised if a few Premiership clubs come sniffing in January. Peter Whittingham (Cardiff City)The midfielder has been in the best form of his life this season scoring a fantastic 10 goals in 15 league games, a stat that any midfield in the world would be proud of. Not only a goal scoring midfielder but a creator for his strikers too. Whittinghams goals and a sists will be vital if Cardiff want to be playing Premier League football next season.Julian Speroni (Crystal Palace)The Argentinean goalkeeper has been ever present for Palace in the last 2 seasons, hes a consistent keeper who rarely makes mistakes and is a fans favourite at Selhurst Park. A brilliant shot stopper he pulls of save after save and is a ma sive part of Palaces team.TOP THREE3. Michael Chopra (Cardiff City)The Cardiff City striker has been in tremendous form this season Matt Chapman Jersey scoring 11 goals in 15 league games. Hes always scored goalswherever hes played most notably for Newcastle and Sunderland in the Premier League. Chopras eye for goal has seen him labelled one of the feared strikers in the Championship and a lot of Cardiff fans hope his goals will fire them to the Premier League.Chopra: Deadly Striker2. Adam Johnson (Middlesbrough)The talented young winger has had an explosive start to the 09-10 season scoring 8 goals in 15 league games. Johnson is a tricky winger who can terrorise full backs with his quick feet and deadly cro ses. He put in some eye catching performances for Boro at the back end of last season and is tipped to have a big future Robbie Grossman Jersey in the game. If he continues to get better and better he could be the answer Marco Estrada Jersey to Englands troubled left hand side.Johnson: Tricky Winger1.Adel Taarabt (QPR)The young Moroccan midfielder is currently on loan at Loftus Road from Tottenham. He spent the last couple of months on loan there at the end of last season and made a big impre sion on the Rangers fans. Thats why they where desperate to bring him back for the start of this season. Taarabt has consistently turned in performance after performance and is one of the most talked about young talents in the English game. If he continues in this form it wouldnt surprise me to see him as a first team regular in Harry Rednapps side next season. Taarabt: Future Star?
