It’s got one of those long vertical windows that let in light but also give a full view straight into the kitchen. I didn’t really care until my neighbor mentioned they could see me making pancakes in boxers. That’s when I figured I needed something better than just half-hearted blinds that clack around every time the door shuts. After a few sketchy attempts with cheap cling film from the hardware store (bubbles everywhere, not reusable, bad fit), I started searching for something more permanent that still let light in. What actually helped was finding this site where you can upload your own file, pick the exact shape of your window (even weird rounded corners), and get it sent back ready to go. I used my iPad to make a simple geometric pattern and the result honestly looked better than I expected. Installation wasn’t hard either — it comes with a little squeegee and instructions that are super clear. This is the windowfilm I ended up using. It’s holding up fine after two seasons, no peeling, no weird fading. I’d say the biggest bonus was not having to trim anything myself. Cutting straight lines stresses me out more than it should.
