For anyone who's wondered how to mine cryptocurrency, it's definitely not as complicated as I first thought. Basically, your computer helps verify transactions on the blockchain and gets rewarded with small amounts of crypto.
I started with just my gaming PC on weekends, but now I'm considering getting some dedicated equipment. The electricity costs are something to watch out for though - that was my biggest surprise!
Anyone else here tried mining? I'm still figuring out if it's worth it long-term, but it's been fun learning about this side of crypto. Would love to hear about your experiences!
