Hey everyone,
I was chatting with a few classmates about CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and whether it’s worth starting while we’re still studying. Some said it’s more for when you’re already in work, but I’ve noticed a few education CPD providers offering student-friendly courses. I tried one through medicprointernationalacademy just to see what it was like, and honestly it wasn’t too heavy – more like a short module that gave me a certificate at the end. Felt like it might look decent on a CV or LinkedIn, even if it’s not a huge deal yet.
The thing is, there are so many providers out there, and it’s hard to know which ones are actually useful versus just “tick-the-box” type certificates. I don’t want to waste money on something employers won’t even care about later.
Has anyone here started CPD while still at uni? If so, did you find it helped with internships or grad applications, or is it better to wait until you’re in a job?
