Has anyone here had issues with their Crypto.com card not working when trying to pay online? I faced this recently while trying to make a purchase, and after digging around and testing a few things, I found some fixes that actually worked.
Here are some things you might want to check:
🔹 Correct Billing Address
Make sure the billing address you enter matches exactly what’s on your Crypto.com account. Even small differences can cause a failed transaction.
🔹 Merchant Restrictions
Some websites don’t accept prepaid or crypto-backed Visa cards. For example, certain streaming platforms or international merchants may block them.
🔹 Sufficient Balance
Double-check that your Crypto.com card has enough fiat or crypto funds converted. If your balance is low or in the wrong currency, the transaction won’t go through.
🔹 Try Using Mobile Wallets
If your card doesn’t work directly, try linking it to Apple Pay or Google Pay. Surprisingly, some payments go through more smoothly that way.
🔹 Security Flag or Block
If you’ve tried multiple times, your card might be temporarily blocked. I had to contact support once, and they helped reset it.
